International Return Policy

GENERAL RETURN AUTHORIZATION INSTRUCTIONS

  • All returns require a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number.
  • Return requests are to be submitted on the ASP Affiliate RMA Request Form to ASP within 30 days of invoice date.
  • RMA Request Form will be evaluated prior to the issuance of RMA number. Once the return is authorized, ASP will provide return instructions.
  • Charges incurred on unauthorized returns or returns sent to ASP without an RMA number will be returned back to the affiliate company at the affiliate’s expense.
  • ASP shall exercise its rights to close out an RMA if the product is not returned within 30 days of RMA issuance. Affiliate shall be notified of this closure. (*)

RETURN DOCUMENTATION

  • RMA number must be referenced on outside of the package being returned.
  • A copy of the RMA and Return Authorization Packing Slip must be included with the return freight to ensure return is processed correctly by the freight forwarder, customs, and ASP warehouse personnel.
    • Correct product description (harmonization code) is essential to customs clearance. Please insure description is correct to avoid customs delays. If needed, please contact ASP for the proper description and harmonization code.
  • Pre-alert notice of flight details, air waybill number and estimated time of arrival (ETA) information is to be provided to ASP on all products being returned (*)

CREDIT MEMO

  • Claims for non-receipt of credit must be reported to ASP within 6 months of credit request.
  • Credit claims made after 6 months will not be accepted.
  • Credit memo will be issued 60 days from receipt of returned part.

PRODUCT DAMAGED IN TRANSIT TO BUYER

  • ASP products are shipped FOB/FCA SHIPPING POINT. ASP’s obligation on delivery is completed when the goods have been loaded on the means of transport. At this point, title and risk of loss/damage is passed to the buyer.
  • ASP will not accept product claims for damages after it has been delivered to the means of transport.
