STERRAD™ System Cassettes

ASP’s STERRAD™ Systems use low-temperature hydrogen peroxide gas plasma to sterilize a range of medical devices.¹ Sterilant comes pre-packaged in sealed STERRAD™ System Cassettes, which contain precisely measured quantities of hydrogen peroxide solution,¹ making gas plasma sterilization both convenient and effective. Once inserted into the sterilizer, cassettes are automatically processed and discarded into the cassette disposal drawer.¹ This minimises handling of the sterilant and allows for touch-free cassette disposal, ensuring the safety for the operator.² STERRAD™ System Cassettes are uniquely bar-coded1 and can be transported via ground or air shipment.³ A chemical indicator on the packaging allows for easy identification of leakages,⁴ ensuring that transport of the sterilant is as safe as possible.
